We are Wirths Logistik

Wirths Logistik is a medium-sized family business. The Wirths family has over 40 years of entrepreneurial experience and has been operating in warehouse logistics and fulfilment since 2003.

As a company, we put our customers’ needs first. We always ensure the highest flexibility and offer an efficient, modern infrastructure and IT structure, which are used in strong medium-term and long-term relationships with customers. Our carefully selected and well-trained staff reflects the high level of business performance because customer satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we do.

Our philosophy is shaped by the Lean Six Sigma culture, with a constant willingness to change, to improve quality, performance, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.

OUR MANAGING DIRECTORS

Jürgen Wirths

In 1979, Jürgen Wirths founded “Wirths Beratung + Maschinenbau” and expanded the construction of special-purpose machines that produce Diapers and women’s hygiene products worldwide.

This resulted in the founding of “Wirths Hygiene” in 1982, which operated the production and worldwide distribution of private label baby Diapers and feminine hygiene products.

In 1994, Wirths acquired „Moltex“, the Baby Diaper brand of VP Schickedanz.

In 1997 Jürgen Wirths sold shares to the Belgian company Ontex whilst continuing his role as a managing partner until 2006.

At the same time, Jürgen and Rita Wirths founded the company “Wirths Logistik” in 2003, which continues to expand to this day, alongside his work as a management consultant with a focus on restructuring and optimisation, together with his son Manuel Wirths.

Manuel Wirths

From 2003 to 2005, Manuel Wirths first completed an apprenticeship as an industrial management assistant at Thyssen Krupp Rasselstein GmbH.

Manuel graduated with a BSc in Business Administration in 2009 and completed his MSc in Business Management one year later. Manuel later held a trainee position at Nordenia Deutschland Gronau GmbH until 2012.

He started his career as department head of internal material logistics at Mondi Gronau GmbH in 2012 and obtained a degree in Logistics at the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy (DAV) in Bremen in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, he engaged himself in cast extrusion, compounding and set-up, which Manuel carried out as the extrusion division manager.

Manuel Wirths, together with his father Jürgen Wirths, has been successfully managing “Wirths Logistik” since 2017.
